Description

Tom Gates has his eye on stardom, and he is quite sure it is only a matter of time. This brand new story from Liz Pichon is full of starry-eyed dreams, family chaos and everyday mishaps, with his ever-irritating classmate Marcus putting on some proper diva behaviour along the way.

Every page mixes handwriting, cartoons and scribbled asides, so the jokes land in the pictures as much as in the words. It is a cheerful, laugh-out-loud read for children who like their stories silly and their margins crowded.
