Crescent City Christmas Chaos

Christmas in New Orleans should be a happy one for Ricki James-Diaz: her parents are in town, and she hopes her mother Josepha might finally share the details of Ricki's adoption, which have always been oddly vague. The truth is darker than she expected. Josepha was blackmailed for years by a woman who threatened to take her daughter away, and when that woman turns up dead at her home, Josepha becomes the chief suspect.

So Ricki has another murder on her hands, and only until Christmas to clear her mother's name. Luckily she can call on the staff of the Bon Vee Culinary House Museum to help. Ellen Byron mixes family secrets, festive Crescent City and a good deal of humour into a warm holiday mystery for anyone who likes their murders cosy and their sleuths fiercely loyal.
