Dog Man: A Sprinkle in Time

Grandpa has been meddling with the fabric of time and space, and the results are about as tidy as you would expect. Dav Pilkey's latest Dog Man adventure puts this cantankerous anti-hero at the centre of things, and asks a surprisingly big question along the way: could a bit of villainy be just what helps Dog Man and his friends grow and bloom?

Expect the usual Pilkey mix of daft jokes, big-hearted characters and comic panels that young readers pore over again and again, with a gentle nudge about stepping up and being the change. A cheerful pick for children who have worked through the earlier Dog Man books and want more of the half dog, half police officer and his ramshackle crew.
