Wings of Fire

A young dragon with a plan, a borrowed kind of magic and a prophecy that won't bend.
Reading guide
This graphic novel adapts the tenth Wings of Fire novel, so it suits readers who already know the story or are happy to follow it in comic form. Readers new to Pyrrhia can start here for a lively introduction to the world.
Qibli, who believes he could stop Darkstalker if he had magic, is tempted by a sliver of the ancient dragon's scroll. Using only the small animus objects he has borrowed from Turtle, he must decide whether he can be the magical force Pyrrhia needs or whether he will bring Jade Mountain, his family and his friends crashing down.

Description

Qibli knows that Darkstalker, the ancient and all-powerful animus dragon, must be stopped, and he is sure he could do it if he only had magic of his own. A sliver of Darkstalker's scroll would let him end the war, make every dragon happy and perhaps even cast a small spell so that everyone likes him. Instead he has only the small animus objects he has borrowed from his friend Turtle, and prophecies that refuse to change.

This graphic novel adapts the tenth Wings of Fire novel by Tui T. Sutherland, with Jade Mountain, Qibli's family and the whole of Pyrrhia at stake. Published by Graphix, an imprint of Scholastic, it is a story about cleverness, temptation and wanting to be loved, and it will suit young dragon fans who want to follow the story in comic form.
