# Two Kinds of Truth

Harry Bosch works cold cases for the small, under-funded San Fernando police department. When a double murder at a local pharmacy pulls him back to active work, an old case returns with it. A death row inmate claims Bosch framed him decades ago and says new DNA evidence proves it. The LAPD regard the case as watertight, which leaves Bosch to clear his own name while keeping a sadistic killer behind bars.

His one ally is Mickey Haller, the Lincoln Lawyer, and the pairing of the two men gives the novel much of its appeal. Connelly keeps both investigations moving at a steady pace, making this a tightly built Los Angeles crime story for readers who enjoy weathered, persistent detectives.
