# Threshing Day (Standard Edition)

Thirteen stories share a single day at Basgiath War College, the one that decides everything for its cadets. On Threshing, they walk into the valley, and a dragon either chooses them or they do not come back. Rebecca Yarros returns to the Fourth Wing world to show how several of its best-loved pairings began, including Xaden Riorson and Sgaeyl, Brennan Sorrengail and Marbh, and Sloane Mairi and Thoirt.

Published by Little, Brown in 2026, this standard edition includes sixteen black-and-white illustrations by Joe Requeza and decorated endpapers. It suits readers who have wondered how their favourite rider first met their dragon, and who know the day's only rule: don't die.
