The Mitochondriac Manifesto 2

Nature, water, light and magnetism, and what modern life is doing to our cells.
Reading guide
Read from the first chapter onwards, since the argument about mitochondria and environment sets up the scientific sections and the practical chapters that follow.
The book opens with the central contrast between natural and foreign frequencies, water and magnetism and their effect on the mitochondria. It then adds evolutionary and physical science, including POMC, melanin, UV biophotons, entropy and time crystals, before moving to practical topics such as methylene blue, photobiomodulation, melatonin and red light, saunas and sports injuries.

Description

R. D. Lee's argument starts with the mitochondria, the tiny power plants inside our cells, and asks what modern life is doing to them. On one side, Lee places natural electromagnetic frequencies, pure water and earth-type magnetism, which the book credits with giving us energy and resistance to disease. On the other sit foreign frequencies, adulterated water and non-uniform magnetic fields, which the book holds responsible for draining our healing capacity.

This expanded second edition adds Dr Jack Kruse's account of mammalian evolution, along with POMC, melanin, UV biophotons, entropy, topological insulators and time crystals. It then turns practical, covering methylene blue, photobiomodulation, circadian rhythms, melatonin and red light, near-infrared saunas and sports injuries. It suits readers drawn to the far edges of health thinking who want the case for light, water and magnetism set out at full length.
