# The Hollow

Michael Connelly's novel is set in Los Angeles, the city where his veteran detective Harry Bosch has worked through decades of cases. This time the investigation turns inward. The publisher describes the secret at its centre as belonging to Bosch himself, and the shop's notes point to something personal rather than another case from the city's files.

Published by Orion in 2026, the book suits readers who like their crime fiction rooted in a real place and built around a stubborn, conscientious hero. Those who already know Bosch will recognise his methods and his determination, and the story rewards that familiarity.
