The Gruffalo and Friends Advent Calendar Book Collection: The perfect festive activity book advent calendar for children!

A little book to open every day of Advent.
Reading guide
Open one mini book each day from 1 December, following the order of the calendar. Each book stands alone, so there is no need to read them in any other sequence.
There is no single storyline. Each mini book is a self-contained colouring, drawing, activity, song or rhyme book based on a Julia Donaldson picture book, and the four puzzle scenes come from matching the back covers together.

Description

Count down to Christmas with twenty-four mini books, one for each day of December. Each one is drawn from a Julia Donaldson picture book illustrated by Axel Scheffler, so familiar faces such as The Gruffalo, Room on the Broom and The Snail and the Whale turn up along the way. The books are colouring, drawing and activity books, alongside songs and rhymes to share aloud.

The back covers hold an extra surprise. Match them up and they form four puzzle scenes of the characters celebrating the season together. The whole set sits in a hardback presentation case tied with a ribbon, which keeps the little books together once the countdown is over. It suits families with young fans of Donaldson's books who want something to make, sing or puzzle over before bedtime.
