# On Wings Of Blood

Medra Pendragon is half-fae and, she is told, the last of the dragon riders, though no dragons remain alive. The vampires of Bloodwing Academy have seized her anyway. Among the highblood elite who rule the school, blightborn students are little more than a supply of blood. An ancient ritual has also betrothed Medra to Blake Drakharrow, the cold, arrogant highblood who has tormented her since they met.

Briar Boleyn weaves Arthurian legend through deadly trials, risky lies and a secret shaped like a dragon, all told in Medra's wry, defiant voice. It is a slow-burn, enemies-to-lovers romantasy with plenty of spice, for readers who like academy fantasy with teeth. Published by HQ in 2025, it has been a New York Times and Sunday Times bestseller.
