# My Not So Perfect Life

Katie Brenner's Instagram suggests a flat in London, a glamorous job and a stylish life, but she rents a room too small for a wardrobe and works a lowly admin post for Demeter, a boss who seems to have everything. When Demeter sacks her, Katie returns to Somerset to help her dad with his new glamping business, and London starts to feel a long way off.

Then Demeter and her family book in for a holiday, and Katie must decide between taking revenge and winning back her job. Published in 2017 by Transworld Digital, this chick lit novel from Sophie Kinsella blends farce with warmth and asks whether anyone's polished life is quite what it seems. It suits readers who enjoy a comedy with a sharp, affectionate eye on modern image-making.
