Knowledge Encyclopedia (Dkyr)

A family encyclopedia that lets children see inside planets, volcanoes, animals and the human body.
Reading guide
This is a reference book, so there is no required order. Children can start with whichever of the six chapters or the reference section interests them most, or dip in by topic.
The book moves through space, earth, nature, the human body, science and technology, and history and culture. Each chapter uses 3-D images, maps, timelines and facts to explain its subject, and the reference section at the back rounds it off.

Description

Knowledge Encyclopedia uses sharp computer-generated 3-D images to show subjects from the inside, so young readers can see how things work rather than only reading about them. Created by DK with the Smithsonian Institution, it is as much a book to look at as one to learn from.

Its six chapters cover space, earth, nature, the human body, science and technology, and history and culture, followed by a reference section at the back. Maps, timelines, graphics and plenty of surprising facts break complicated ideas into manageable pieces, making it a dependable homework companion and an easy book for a curious child to wander through.
