# I Think My Name is Brodie: A straight from the dog's mouth memoir

Brodie, the narrator, is fairly sure his name is Brodie, given how often he hears it shouted across the house. This short memoir is told in his own voice, from the dog's side of the household. He works through the everyday instructions he receives: coming when called, sitting down, keeping off the sofa, getting into the car, and being told breakfast is ready, along with the one he hears most often.

Because it is a single, small book, it suits readers who enjoy light, good-humoured writing about pets. It is written for anyone who has ever wondered what their own dog makes of all those commands. The humour is gentle and rests on the familiar routines of daily life with a dog.
