# Dell'italia, Uscente Il Settembre Del 1818, Ragionamenti Iv....

Angeloni's *Dell'Italia* is a single work, and it captures the peninsula at one moment. Written in the autumn of 1818, when Italy was a patchwork of states restored after Napoleon's fall, it sets out the author's reasoning on that condition across four discourses, the *ragionamenti* named in the title. Angeloni wrote as an Italian patriot in exile.
