# Big Bad Wolf

Ruby Bellerose lives on the edge of the woods outside Maple Hollow, in a cottage that seems to belong more to a fairy tale than to the present day. She keeps clear of the town's gossip and has little romance in her life until she meets Rafe, a brooding woodsman who lives deep among the trees. He is hiding something, and the forest may be too.

Laurie Gilmore, the bestselling author of the Dream Harbor books, builds this darker, spicier romance on fairy-tale foundations, with a grumpy-meets-sunshine pairing, forced proximity and a found family taking shape. The publisher notes that it is a rewritten version of her earlier novel A Curse of Blood and Wolves, though some character names and plot points remain the same. It suits readers who like cosy small towns with a little bite.
