Agatha Christie: A World of Mystery

Fifty years on, a fresh look at the Queen of Crime.
Reading guide
This is a standalone book with no order to follow, so it can be read at any point, whether before or after Christie's novels.
The book looks at Agatha Christie's life and work through material from the Christie Archive, alongside contributions from people who have worked with her stories on stage and screen, from crime writers and from Christie experts.

Description

Fifty years after her death, Agatha Christie remains everywhere: on stage, on screen and on the crime shelves of every bookshop. This book from British Library Publishing draws on unprecedented access to the Christie Archive to look again at her life and her work.

Its contributors come from the theatre, film and television, from fellow crime writers and from Christie specialists, so the portrait is shaped by many voices. It will suit anyone who grew up with Poirot and Miss Marple and would like to know more about the woman who created them.
