Description

A Road Ran Through It is a paperback by Tony Kreit, published in 2017. Its subtitle places it near the end of National Service in Britain, the period when young men were called up for compulsory military service.

The book is a good choice for readers drawn to post-war British life and to personal accounts of how national service shaped the people who lived through it. It is self-published through CreateSpace, and it can be read on its own.
