# A Court of Silver Flames

A Court of Silver Flames is a novel by Sarah J. Maas, published by Bloomsbury in 2021. It returns to the world of A Court of Thorns and Roses and tells the story from Nesta Archeron's side. Nesta never asked to become High Fae. After being forced into the Cauldron, she is prickly, proud and slow to forgive, and she has found no place for herself in the deadly Night Court. The war with Hybern still haunts her.

Cassian, the battle-scarred warrior who serves Rhysand and Feyre, is the person who provokes her most. When the two are pushed into close quarters, their friction turns to something hotter. Meanwhile, the human queens of the Continent have formed a new alliance that threatens the fragile peace. The book is a story of anger, grief and slow healing, for anyone who has long wanted to see things from Nesta's side.
