The Mortifying Ordeal of Being Seen, Vol. 5

Classmates Ikezawa and Eguchi share an intense, mutual fascination in the fifth volume of The Mortifying Ordeal of Being Seen. This shonen manga from VIZ Media follows their escalating contest of gazes, where each boy tries to fluster the other with bold displays of skin. Blunt Eguchi enjoys pushing Ikezawa’s buttons, while the easily embarrassed Ikezawa discovers how thrilling it is to be looked at with equal desire.

In this installment, a swimsuit strip show pushes both to their limits, resulting in a messy and unexpected trip to the hospital. Later, a nighttime festival outing forces Ikezawa to confront feelings deeper than he ever imagined. The series mixes comedy and romantic tension, turning every shared look into a high-stakes battle.
