The Loudest Place on Earth

The Loudest Place on Earth is a work of urban fiction that explores the clash between modern New York City and a hidden society of noise-loathing fairies. These magical beings fled underground centuries ago to escape the city roar and now seek a human ally to help them reclaim the surface. Ludwig, a comfort-seeking slacker, becomes the unlikely candidate for this task after discovering the secret fairy world beneath Times Square.

In this first volume, Ludwig is recruited by an enchantress known as An Exalted Northwind. While the fairy offers a ruby-defecating piglet as payment, Ludwig is more interested in pursuing a career as a fashion mogul. This urban fable examines themes of defiance and accountability as the fairies grow desperate. Ludwig must eventually decide if he will assist the magical residents or allow fairy vengeance to destroy the city.
