Skeletons in the Closet (The Misadventures of the Laundry Hag)

Maggie thought the hardest part of the job would be the wine stains. She didn't count on the bloodstains.

Maggie Phillips is a stay-at-home mom with a mounting pile of bills and a talent for scrubbing out the toughest spots. When her wealthy new neighbors offer her a side-hustle to clean their mansion, she sucks up her pride and grabs the bleach.

The house is stunning, the paycheck is better, and the husband? Well, he’s a special kind of creepy.

Mr. Kline collects medieval torture devices—because nothing says welcome to the neighborhood like an Iron Maiden.

When Mrs. Kline turns up dead, the police zero in on the creepy collector.

And Maggie is his only alibi. Sandwiched between a murder investigation and a man who knows far too much about the Spanish Inquisition, Maggie must uncover the truth before she becomes the next relic in his collection.

It’s a dirty job, but someone’s gotta resolve it.

Skeletons in the Closet is book 1 in the Misadventures of the Laundry Hag women’s sleuth mystery series.
