The Whole Package

Harriette's whole life is a performance of perfection: the immaculate home, the flawless bakes, the dream husband, all served up to her online followers. Then a Christmas cookie live stream goes disastrously wrong, her marriage falls apart in full public view, and she retreats to the place she has always tried to escape, her parents' home in the Gorbals in Glasgow.

Sleeping on a lumpy mattress, with a horrible new haircut and fake Uggs, she is plain Harri again. While social media churns with rumours, she hides out, helps her mum at the local community centre and tries very hard not to notice the man who works there. Sophie Gravia's festive romantic comedy is warm, daft and full of loving family chaos, a cosy December read for anyone who likes their romance with plenty of laughs and a homecoming at its heart.
