Muses Volume 1 is a design publication by Carole Gibbons, released to coincide with the artist's solo exhibition, Dear Beast, at 5b. This volume showcases a curated selection of previously unpublished drawings that highlight the creator's artistic focus and technical skill.

The book centers on the artist's deep devotion to feline subjects, presenting a series of detailed studies and illustrations. As a work of design, Muses Volume 1 serves as a visual record of Gibbons' creative process and her exploration of the cat as a primary subject.
