About this book
The story
Comanche the Wild Mustang, Volume 1, follows the remarkable life journey of a spirited horse from the rugged wilderness of Nevada to the lush, tropical landscapes of Kaua'i, Hawaii. This children's fiction story tracks his transformation from a newborn in the wild to a compassionate therapy horse helping humans. Through his eyes, readers learn about the unique characteristics of these majestic animals and the real world challenges facing wild mustang populations today.
This engaging pets book is a collaborative effort between author Coyote Tara and artist Nica Ware. Beyond the storytelling, the book serves as an educational resource regarding the preservation of North America's wild horses. A portion of the proceeds from Comanche the Wild Mustang, Volume 1, supports Love Wild Horses, a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and preserving these iconic creatures. It is a meaningful addition to any collection of animal fiction.
