This book gives a comprehensive description of European men’s club basketball in the main European basketball countries for the 2018/2019 season, and is divided into three parts.The first part of this book consists of the rankings and results in the 2018/2019 season in European Cups, national championships and national cups in 34 European countries.The second part of this book consists of overviews of selections of the various main European basketball club teams; 361 in total, belonging to 36 countries. These selections are compiled in such a way that the basic team formation of 5 players can easily be distinguished. The pecking order of the other players within the team is made clear. The position of each player has been determined as well as his nationality, and if he has the status as ‘international’ for his country. The strength of each player within the national league they compete is also determined.The third part of this book consists of an index of all the players included in the second part of this book. The players have been categorized firstly by nationality and secondly by position. Players who share nationality and position are listed in alphabetical order, and their club team has been included. The total number of players included in Part 3 of this book is 4,685 and the number of their home countries is 91.
