About this book
The story
Bus loves his daily route, but after years of service he is worn out and headed for the scrapyard. Just when his journey seems over, a buyer takes him to Central America, where he undergoes a colorful transformation into Rayo, a lively “chicken bus.” Now adorned with vivid decorations, Rayo carries passengers, goods, and plenty of clucking chickens through bustling streets.
This children’s book, ¡Vroom, Vroom, Vámonos! (Volume 1), weaves together themes of recycling, green living, and the excitement of cars, trucks, and buses. Against a backdrop of Central American landscapes, the story shows how discarded things can find new purpose. Young readers interested in transportation and tales of reuse will appreciate Rayo’s second chance and his important role in the community.
