House of Earth and Blood

Lunathion, the city everyone calls Crescent City, is built for pleasure, and Bryce Quinlan has always taken it at its word, spending her nights in its clubs and parties. Then a brutal murder tears her world apart. Two years on she still haunts the same notorious nightclubs, though now she goes looking for oblivion rather than fun, until the killer strikes again.

Assigned to shadow her every step is Hunt Athalar, an infamous Fallen angel with a past as dark as her own. Their hunt for answers drags them through the city's underbelly, across warring continents and down into the depths of Hel, where something sleeping for millennia is starting to stir. The first Crescent City novel blends murder mystery, angels and demons with slow-burning tension, for anyone who likes their fantasy sprawling, sharp-edged and modern.
