Jesus Calling Devotional Bible-NKJV

For years the missionary Sarah Young kept a journal of her prayers, and in time she began listening for what Jesus might be saying to her within the words of Scripture. That practice shapes this edition of the New King James Version, set in readable paragraph format, with 260 devotions placed throughout the text. Each takes up a real struggle of daily life and answers it with words Young believes Jesus laid on her heart, followed by a prayer.

Hundreds of verses are highlighted along the way, and an index makes it easy to return to a particular devotion. The two-colour text, ribbon marker and presentation page give it the feel of a Bible meant to be kept and handed on. It suits anyone who wants their daily reading of Scripture to feel less like study and more like quiet, personal conversation.
