Dell'italia, Uscente Il Settembre Del 1818, Ragionamenti Iv....

Italy in the autumn of 1818 was a patchwork of states restored under the settlement that followed Napoleon's fall, and Luigi Angeloni, an Italian patriot writing in exile, set out his thoughts on its condition in four reasoned discourses, the ragionamenti of the title. The text is in Italian, as first published.

This edition reproduces the original work for modern readers. It will suit anyone studying the years before the Risorgimento who wants to hear the period's arguments in its own words.
