Policy Experiments is Volume 1 of the Elements In Public Policy series. This political science text redefines policy experiments, moving beyond the standard view of randomized trials to frame them as speculative tools for testing innovative instruments. By applying perspectives from Science and Technology Studies, the author examines how public concerns are addressed through a structured four part process involving the adoption of foreign instruments and the creation of experimental mesocosms.
