About this book
The story
The Light Arises is the first volume of The Seven Words fantasy series. Rayne seeks the Words of the One to Veres to fulfill a divine calling, but access to the isolated world of Veres is restricted to those involved in the brutal games of the Sorial merchants. To infiltrate this dangerous environment, Rayne assumes the identity of the warrior-slave Wren.
Lady Alexianndra Erland leads a rebel faction after an assassin destroyed her home and injured her father. She plans to kidnap the Prince of Ochen from the Anderson House Gaming Complex to force King Theodor to assist her people. This fiction novel follows their intersecting paths as Lexi seeks vengeance and Rayne pursues his mission. The Light Arises, Volume 1, explores the conflict between political rebellion and a spiritual quest for light.
