Three hundred miles of the coastal path along Southern England is an ambitious undertaking for a grandfather, and the company he keeps makes it no simpler. His youngest son comes along, and so does a multi-millionaire with his Chinese chef ladyfriend, who is still getting to grips with the English language and finds English roads a challenge behind the wheel.

Somewhere along the way, the grandfather realises he has bitten off more than he can chew and turns to a cunning plan of deception to get himself through. A gentle, good-humoured story for anyone who enjoys an English walking holiday that doesn't quite go to plan.
