Sermons on the life of Christ

"Saint John Chrysostom (c.

347-407) was one of the greatest preachers in the history of the Church.

This volume brings together nine sermons on the saving events in Christ's life, giving readers a unique insight into the Incarnation and saving work of Christ as Chrysostom opens up the theological meaning and the spiritual application to be found in Christ's birth, baptism, death, resurrection, and ascension-and in the sending of the Spirit on Pentecost"-- Provided by publisher.
