Fluid & Electrolyte Fundamentals of IV Infusion

The registered professional nurse who is engaged in active practice needs to be thoroughly familiar with all aspects of infusion therapy, and to develop competence and maintain expertise in its application.

The goal of this course is to offer nurses an opportunity to review the basic concepts that underlie intravenous infusion therapy.

It covers the fundamentals of fluids and homeostasis, the composition and movements of body fluids, and acid-base balance.
