IT's O.K. - Tom's Afraid of the Dark!

A small cat called Tom is frightened of the dark, and he finds his own way through it: when the light goes out, he uses his imagination to think about good things instead of bad ones. It is a gentle idea, and a useful one, handed to young children through a character they can easily cuddle up beside.

This picture book belongs to the shelf of stories that help with a particular worry, and its comfort is a practical one a child can borrow at bedtime. A kind choice for a little one who is wary of the dark, and for the grown-up doing the tucking in.
