Block A: Prices, for Better, for Worse

This block looks at measuring as a way of resolving everyday questions such as: Are we getting better off?

It focuses on prices, how to measure them and how to measure price changes over time.

It also introduces a number of mathematical skills, including statistics, data and the various ways in which they can be presented, as percentages, averages, price ratios and index numbers.
