About this book
The story
R. D. Lee places the mitochondria, the tiny power stations inside our cells, at the centre of an argument about modern health. In Lee's account, natural electromagnetic frequencies, pure water and the earth's steady magnetism sustain our energy and resistance to illness, while artificial frequencies, adulterated water and uneven magnetic fields drain that energy away and open the door to disease.
As its title suggests, this is a manifesto rather than a neutral survey: a personal case for living closer to nature's patterns and keeping a wary eye on technology. It will suit readers drawn to alternative perspectives on environment and wellbeing who enjoy weighing a bold thesis for themselves.
