The Ascended

Thais Morvaren can forge weapons from starlight, and she has spent her life making sure nobody finds out. When her secret is exposed, she is thrown into the Trials of Ascension, where those touched by divine power must rise to godhood or die in the attempt. Her twin brother is forced in beside her.

Fear hardens into purpose: Thais means to kill Olinthar, King of the Gods, and to do that she must become a god herself. Standing in her way, or perhaps at her side, is a dark prince whose secrets rival her own. Deadly contests, a sibling bond under strain and a heroine with a god in her sights make this a romantasy for anyone who likes their love stories with a blade close at hand.
