Big Bad Wolf

Ruby Bellerose lives at the edge of the woods outside Maple Hollow, in a cottage that belongs more to a fairy tale than to the present day. She keeps clear of the town's whispered gossip, and her love life barely exists, until she crosses paths with Rafe, a brooding woodsman who lives deep among the trees. He is hiding something, and so, it seems, is the forest.

Laurie Gilmore, the bestselling author of the Dream Harbor books, opens her Maple Hollow trilogy with a darker, spicier romance built on fairy-tale bones: grumpy meets sunshine, fated mates, forced proximity and a found family in the making. It is a thoroughly rewritten version of her earlier novel A Curse of Blood and Wolves. This one is for anyone who likes their cosy small towns with a little bite.
